H.R. No. 1860
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Charlotte Patterson of Jones Elementary School has
been named a 2013 Teacher of the Year by the Mansfield Independent
School District; and
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women
who dedicate their careers to teaching contribute each day to the
future of their students, as well as to the communities in which
they live; and
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and
mentors, the best educators bring to the classroom creativity,
energy, and resourcefulness; Charlotte Patterson is one such
teacher, inspiring in her students a love of learning that will
serve them well throughout their lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Charlotte Patterson on her
selection as a 2013 Mansfield ISD Teacher of the Year and extend to
her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important
work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Patterson as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
