H.R. No. 1918 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal milestones, and John Paul Callegari is participating in that joyful occasion with his graduation from St. Pius X High School in Houston on May 25, 2013; and WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2013 will soon go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at St. Pius X High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences that Mr. Callegari has gained there will forever enrich his life; and WHEREAS, Earning his high school diploma has required hard work and dedication, and Mr. Callegari can reflect with pride on the perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; during his senior year, he played on the tennis team and received the Most Improved Player award in soccer; he has participated in a variety of community service activities and particularly enjoyed his time spent at Camp Spike 'n' Wave volunteering with children who have epilepsy; and WHEREAS, Mr. Callegari plans to pursue a degree in international finance and trade at Louisiana State University, where he will be a legacy of both his proud parents, William and Denise Callegari, and his grandfather, State Representative Bill Callegari; and WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature hereby congratulate John Paul Callegari on the occasion of his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Callegari as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
