H.R. No. 201 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories of Emanuel Chilelli of Irving who passed away on December 19, 2012, at the age of 98; and WHEREAS, A native of Chicago, Emanuel "Dodge" Chilelli was born on June 14, 1914; he worked as a stationary engineer with Wisconsin Steel for 33 years before his retirement in 1973; he and his wife, Marie, then moved to Irving, where they lived for nearly four decades; and WHEREAS, Mr. Chilelli was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Grand Knight of Irving Council No. 5243; having witnessed a panorama of change during a historic century, he was a treasured source of wisdom and inspiration for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and WHEREAS, Emanuel Chilelli enjoyed a life that was rich in the intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Emanuel Chilelli and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Marie Chilelli; to his daughter, Janet Osburn, and her husband, Tom; to his grandchildren, Kristin Beth and her husband, Michael, and Kerry Osburn and his wife, Stephanie; to his great-grandchildren, Nathan Osburn, Dalaney Beth, and Ethan Beth; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Emanuel Chilelli.
