H.R. No. 2080
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, John Roberts of Santa Fe, Texas, has been named an
Everyday Hero by the Galveston County Daily News; and
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and
talents to benefit others make the world a better place through
their actions and their example, and Mr. Roberts is indeed one such
person; and
WHEREAS, Compassionate and generous, this notable Texan has
enriched many lives, and in so doing, he has earned the deep respect
and appreciation of his fellow residents; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate John Roberts on earning the title
of Everyday Hero from the Galveston County Daily News and extend to
him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Roberts as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
