H.R. No. 2085
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Steve Mataro has been named a Community Champion by
the Galveston County Daily News; and
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and
talents to benefit others make the world a better place through
their actions and their example, and Mr. Mataro is one such person;
and
WHEREAS, Through his work rebuilding homes in the wake of
Hurricane Ike, this notable Texan has demonstrated outstanding
leadership and generosity of spirit and has earned the heartfelt
admiration of all who know him; and
WHEREAS, Compassionate and dedicated, Mr. Mataro has
enriched many lives, and it is a pleasure to honor him for his
contributions to his fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Steve Mataro on his designation as
a Community Champion by the Galveston County Daily News and extend
to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Mataro as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
