H.R. No. 2132 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the death of Bettie Ann Antley of Dayton on April 2, 2013, at the age of 74; and WHEREAS, Bettie Antley was the daughter of Selma and Christine Walling; she married Nolan W. Antley, Sr., and together they enjoyed caring for their blended family of five children; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Antley cherished her time with loved ones and was a source of comfort and nurturing to her 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; among her favorite pastimes were playing bingo and cooking Cajun food; and WHEREAS, Those fortunate enough to have known Bettie Antley will always remember her with great tenderness and affection; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Bettie Ann Antley and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, Nolan W. Antley, Sr.; to her sons, Mickey and Mitchell Montondon; to her stepson, Nolan Antley, Jr., and his wife, Mandi; to her stepdaughters, Carolyn Hartwick and her husband, George, and Darlene Burgess and her husband, Charles; to her grandchildren, Mickey Montondon II, April Montondon, Miranda Green, Danette Sides Pfaff and her husband, Mike, Thomas Sides, Jr., Charles Burgess, Jr., Ryan Howard, Nicholas Antley, Constance Alderson, Maylie Antley, Candace Edmonsteon, and Manae Lewis; to her great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bettie Ann Antley.
