H.R. No. 2203
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rashad O'Rae Roberson has provided invaluable
service as a legislative intern in the office of State
Representative Hubert Vo during the 83rd Texas Legislative Session;
and
WHEREAS, A participant in the Texas Legislative Internship
Program, Mr. Roberson has drafted policy research and other
documents, prepared summaries and questions for hearings of the
Economic and Small Business Development Committee, and helped with
constituent services tasks; he is known in the office for his
kindness and good manners; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Roberson is a senior at Lamar University,
studying political science and sociology; he plans to continue his
education after graduation by attending law school and also hopes
to secure a real estate license; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of his internship, Mr. Roberson has
earned the respect of his colleagues, taking on each new task with
characteristic enthusiasm, and his work has greatly benefited
constituents in House District 149 and people throughout the state;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby commend Rashad Roberson on his outstanding
tenure in the office of State Representative Hubert Vo and extend to
him sincere best wishes for a bright and happy future; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Roberson as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
