H.R. No. 793
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 40th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Dreabon and Pam Joiner
of Pickton celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on
February 3, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Joiner were joined in matrimony in
1973; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured
family that includes two children, Micle Flora and Benjamin Joiner,
as well as two grandchildren, Logan and Maggie Joiner; and
WHEREAS, Avid motorcycle enthusiasts, the couple have toured
39 of the country's 50 states on a Harley-Davidson; they also
participate in the Patriot Guard Riders, a nonprofit group that
pays tribute to fallen military service members; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Joiner have enjoyed four decades of
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dreabon and Pam Joiner on their
40th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Joiner as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
