H.R. No. 811
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Berta Vogler of Lamesa celebrated her 90th birthday
in February 2013, and a host of her friends and admirers gathered to
extend to her their congratulations and best wishes; and
WHEREAS, Born in 1923, Ms. Vogler has seen her own story play
out against the backdrop of an eventful period in history; and
WHEREAS, A source of wisdom and inspiration, Ms. Vogler has
greatly enriched the lives of those around her, and she has in turn
been blessed with many wonderful memories; and
WHEREAS, Berta Vogler holds a special place in the hearts of
her loved ones, and she may indeed reflect with satisfaction on nine
decades of life well lived; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Berta Vogler on her 90th birthday
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Vogler as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
