R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Maurice and Betty Flora of Como celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on February 26, 2013, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Flora exchanged the vows of matrimony
at a ceremony held in Como in 1953, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family
that includes a son, Mike Flora, and his wife, Tina, as well as
three grandchildren, Candace, Colton, and Corbin; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Maurice and Betty Flora have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Maurice and Betty Flora on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Flora as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
