H.R. No. 840
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, February 14, 2013, marked the 25th wedding
anniversary of Earle and Sharon Calvert of Waco, providing a
fitting opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together
as husband and wife; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Calvert were joined in matrimony on
Valentine's Day in 1988; they take pride in a fine family that
includes their children, Jessica Calvert, Jacquelynn Harris and her
husband, Trent, Joshua Calvert and his wife, Calli, and the late
Jennifer Calvert, as well as a grandson, Ryley, and three
step-grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, and Heath Harris; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple are
now both retired; Mr. Calvert enjoyed a notable career as a clinical
psychologist with 30 years of military and government service and
Mrs. Calvert also worked in government for three decades as an
executive secretary; and
WHEREAS, The 25 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Calvert
have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and
commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who
know them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Earle and Sharon Calvert on their
silver wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Calvert as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
