H.R. No. 850
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Johnny and Grace Lowe
of Bedford celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on
January 24, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe were joined in matrimony in 1963;
through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family
that includes three children, Jeff Lowe and his wife, Kellie, Jason
Lowe and his wife, Christina, and Julie Lunsford and her husband,
Chad, as well as eight grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and
Mrs. Lowe are both retired educators who taught in Arlington and
Irving; in addition to meeting their career and family
responsibilities, they have enjoyed traveling to various locales
over the course of their relationship; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe have enjoyed a half-century of
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Johnny and Grace Lowe on their 50th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lowe as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
