H.R. No. 857
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The 60th Annual Buccaneer Days Coronation, "The
Court of Triumphant Dynasties," presented by Las Donas De La Corte,
is being celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Corpus Christi; and
WHEREAS, This year's event theme will highlight some of
history's great dynasties, ranging from the ancient Babylonians to
the 19th century; 32 area high school students, who are a source of
great pride to their families and community, will serve as court
attendants and heralds; and
WHEREAS, Among those participating in the 2013 court are:
Alexandra Paige Addkison, Claire Alison Childers, Hannah Marie
Ehrman, Corrie Christine Fowler, Emily Alane Hellums, Rachel
Victoria Johnstone, Kimberly Rose Krockover, Eryn Lanay Lyle,
Ashley Erin McCracken, Mary Constance McCullough, Brooke Hailey
Marbach, Rachel Ann Moore, Lauren Elizabeth Morales, Arden Marie
Perabo, Hattie Elizabeth Powell, Hannah Nicole Roberson, Sara
Elizabeth Rucker, Kathryn Ann Vela, Michael Mason Carrell, Kenneth
Malcolm Culbreth III, Michael Alexander DeLeon, Thomas Nicholas
Hallick, Stevens Arthur Herbst, Benjamin Sams Hawn, John Charles
Townes Mahaffey, John Mark Morales II, William Dalton Morehouse
III, John Neal Nacci, Craig Zachary Smith, Duncan Stuart Tugman,

WHEREAS, Las Donas De La Corte is sponsoring an exciting and
beautiful event, and it is a pleasure to honor all those associated
with this impressive endeavor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the 60th Annual Buccaneer Days
Coronation and extend to all those involved sincere best wishes for
a memorable celebration.
