R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dick and Maxine Anderson of Georgetown celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary in 2013, and they may indeed reflect
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson met at a wedding in Oklahoma
City, and they exchanged the vows of matrimony on February 6, 1953;
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a
loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, For six decades, Dick and Maxine Anderson have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dick and Maxine Anderson on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Anderson as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
