H.R. No. 955
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tyler Anthony Zreet of Georgetown has attained the
rank of Eagle Scout, and this accomplishment truly merits special
recognition; and
WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
criteria, Mr. Zreet earned 26 merit badges, and he took part in 29
service projects totaling 146 hours of volunteer work; in addition,
he successfully completed an Eagle Scout project in which he
organized the construction of a picnic area for the Wesleyan at
Estrella retirement home; and
WHEREAS, A junior at East View High School and congregant of
Christ Lutheran Church, this fine young Texan is a Brotherhood
Member of the Tonkawa Lodge, Order of the Arrow; he has demonstrated
outstanding leadership ability throughout his scouting career,
winning the respect and admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked
toward the highest rank that scouting offers; and
WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Zreet's dedication to excellence and his
perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to
stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride
on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Tyler Anthony Zreet on achieving
the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Zreet as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
