99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Section 2054.506, Government Code, is amended to
1111 read as follows:
1212 Sec. 2054.506. EXPIRATION OF SUBCHAPTER. This subchapter
1313 expires and the council is abolished September 1, 2015 [2013].
1414 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives
1515 a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as
1616 provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this
1717 Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this
1818 Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the
1919 legislative session.
