                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 25, 2013      TO: Honorable Dan Patrick, Chair, Senate Committee on Education      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1109 by Deuell (Relating to suspending public school accountability ratings and certain interventions and sanctions for the 2012-2013 school year.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would suspend the assignment of accreditation statuses and performance ratings for campuses and school districts for the 2012-13 school year. Based on the analysis of the Texas Education Agency, the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
