                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 23, 2013      TO: Honorable Kevin Eltife, Chair, Senate Committee on Administration      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1871 by Estes (relating to burial on property dedicated for cemetery purposes as part of the State Cemetery.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to change an eligibility requirement for an individual to be buried in the State Cemetery.     The Texas Facilities Commission indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.
