77 relating to the authority to issue bonds of the Mustang Special
88 Utility District.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Chapter 7209, Special District Local Laws Code,
1111 is amended by adding Subchapter C to read as follows:
1212 SUBCHAPTER C. BONDS
1313 Sec. 7209.101. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS. (a) The district
1414 has the rights, powers, duties, and obligations of an issuer under
1515 Chapter 1371, Government Code.
1616 (b) Sections 49.181 and 49.182, Water Code, do not apply to
1717 the district.
1818 SECTION 2. (a) The legal notice of the intention to
1919 introduce this Act, setting forth the general substance of this
2020 Act, has been published as provided by law, and the notice and a
2121 copy of this Act have been furnished to all persons, agencies,
2222 officials, or entities to which they are required to be furnished
2323 under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and Chapter 313,
2424 Government Code.
2525 (b) The governor, one of the required recipients, has
2626 submitted the notice and Act to the Texas Commission on
2727 Environmental Quality.
2828 (c) The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has filed
2929 its recommendations relating to this Act with the governor, the
3030 lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of
3131 representatives within the required time.
3232 (d) All requirements of the constitution and laws of this
3333 state and the rules and procedures of the legislature with respect
3434 to the notice, introduction, and passage of this Act are fulfilled
3535 and accomplished.
3636 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
