9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subsection (a), Section 411.092, Government | |
11 | 11 | Code, is amended to read as follows: | |
12 | 12 | (a) The banking commissioner is entitled to obtain from the | |
13 | 13 | department criminal history record information maintained by the | |
14 | 14 | department that relates to a person who is: | |
15 | 15 | (1) an applicant for a license, charter, or other | |
16 | 16 | authority granted or issued by the banking commissioner under: | |
17 | 17 | (A) Subtitle A, F, or G, Title 3, Finance Code[, | |
18 | 18 | or any successor to that law]; [or] | |
19 | 19 | (B) Chapter 151 [152, 153,] or 154, Finance Code; | |
20 | 20 | or | |
21 | 21 | (C) Chapter 712, Health and Safety Code; | |
22 | 22 | (2) a principal of an applicant under Subdivision (1); | |
23 | 23 | (3) an employee of or applicant for employment or | |
24 | 24 | volunteer with the Texas Department of Banking; or | |
25 | 25 | (4) a contractor or subcontractor of the Texas | |
26 | 26 | Department of Banking. | |
27 | 27 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
