77 relating to access to criminal history record information by the
88 banking commissioner.
99 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1010 SECTION 1. Subsection (a), Section 411.092, Government
1111 Code, is amended to read as follows:
1212 (a) The banking commissioner is entitled to obtain from the
1313 department criminal history record information maintained by the
1414 department that relates to a person who is:
1515 (1) an applicant for a license, charter, or other
1616 authority granted or issued by the banking commissioner under:
1717 (A) Subtitle A, F, or G, Title 3, Finance Code[,
1818 or any successor to that law]; [or]
1919 (B) Chapter 151 [152, 153,] or 154, Finance Code;
2020 or
2121 (C) Chapter 712, Health and Safety Code;
2222 (2) a principal of an applicant under Subdivision (1);
2323 (3) an employee of or applicant for employment or
2424 volunteer with the Texas Department of Banking; or
2525 (4) a contractor or subcontractor of the Texas
2626 Department of Banking.
2727 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
