| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subsection (b), Article 62.005, Code of Criminal | |
| 11 | 11 | Procedure, is amended to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (b) The information contained in the database, including | |
| 13 | 13 | the numeric risk level assigned to a person under this chapter, is | |
| 14 | 14 | public information, with the exception of any information: | |
| 15 | 15 | (1) regarding the person's social security number or | |
| 16 | 16 | driver's license number, or any home, work, or cellular telephone | |
| 17 | 17 | number of the person; | |
| 18 | 18 | (2) that is described by Article 62.051(c)(7) or | |
| 19 | 19 | required by the department under Article 62.051(c)(8), including | |
| 20 | 20 | any information regarding an employer's name, address, or telephone | |
| 21 | 21 | number; or | |
| 22 | 22 | (3) that would identify the victim of the offense for | |
| 23 | 23 | which the person is subject to registration. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
