| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 61.225, Education Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsections (d) and (e) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (d) This section does not apply to the eligibility | |
| 13 | 13 | requirements for grants awarded for an academic year after the | |
| 14 | 14 | 2014-2015 academic year. | |
| 15 | 15 | (e) This section expires January 1, 2016. | |
| 16 | 16 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 17 | 17 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 18 | 18 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 19 | 19 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 20 | 20 | Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
