| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Subsection (a), Section 212.0146, Local | |
| 14 | 14 | Government Code, is amended to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | (a) This section applies only to a replat of a subdivision | |
| 16 | 16 | or a part of a subdivision located in a municipality or the | |
| 17 | 17 | extraterritorial jurisdiction of a municipality with a population | |
| 18 | 18 | of 1.3 [1.9] million or more. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 20 | 20 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 21 | 21 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | |
