SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 144 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Carlos Rosales, who is retiring after 43 years of outstanding dedication to the United States Postal Service; and WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Mr. Rosales has been noted for his professionalism, diligence, and reliability; and WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, he has handled the unique challenges of his job, rarely missing a day during four decades of work; he is generous with his spare time, and his good works include teaching Sunday school to youngsters and supporting numerous veterans' organizations; and WHEREAS, An exemplary gentleman, Mr. Rosales is respected and admired by his coworkers, and his presence at the United States Postal Service will be greatly missed; and WHEREAS, Upon his retirement, this devoted father and grandfather plans to learn golf and to continue pursuing such favorite pastimes as reading, watching sports, and spending time with his beloved family; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd Legislature, hereby commend Carlos Rosales on his long career of exceptional public service with the United States Postal Service and extend to him best wishes for continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
