SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 599
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned six
decades, Cash and Esther Harper of Georgetown celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on March 22, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Harper exchanged the vows of
matrimony in Bellaire, Ohio, on that memorable day in 1953, and
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a
devoted life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Harper count among their blessings a
fine family that includes three children, Suzanne Harper, Julia
Pearson and her husband, Joel, and Dwight Harper and his wife,
Dede, as well as three grandchildren, Jessie Pearson, Joel
Pearson, and Cash Harper, with whom they treasure sharing the
many special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past six decades, Cash and
Esther Harper can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
Legislature, hereby congratulate Cash and Esther Harper on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Harper as an expression of high regard
by the Texas Senate.
