SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 779
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Mrs. Christene Redden on the grand occasion of her 90th
birthday; and
WHEREAS, This gracious lady is well known for her charm and
generosity of spirit, and she is a revered resident of Dallas;
and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Redden was born March 31, 1923; she has
throughout her life been a source of inspiration, happiness, and
strength for all those who have known her; and
WHEREAS, In celebration of her birthday, the five
generations of her large and loving family, along with her many
friends, are gathering on March 30, 2013, to congratulate her and
share in this milestone in her life; and
WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community,
she is noted for her courage, her compassion for others, and her
enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
83rd Legislature, hereby extend best wishes to Mrs. Christene
Redden on her 90th birthday; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
