SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 98
WHEREAS, January 24, 2013, will be a day long cherished and
remembered by Victoria and Bernie Scheffler, for on that day
their daughter Adelaide Cecelia Scheffler was born; and
WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl weighed seven pounds 12
ounces and was 22 inches long; and
WHEREAS, Adelaide's safe arrival fulfilled her parents'
dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their new
daughter; and
WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to
Adelaide's family, and she has been heartily welcomed into the
Scheffler household; and
WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate
welcome this new native Texan so recently born into the
illustrious ranks of the citizenry of the Lone Star State; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Victoria and
Bernie Scheffler and honor Adelaide Cecelia as a new citizen of
the State of Texas; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the Scheffler family as an expression of best wishes from the
Texas Senate.
