 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Tiffany Nivens graduated as the valedictorian of the
 senior class of Sanford-Fritch High School in Fritch on May 31,
 2013; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms.
 Nivens demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of
 subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to
 her studies are myriad; and
 WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, she served
 as vice president of the senior class and was active in UIL
 competition throughout her high school career; her future plans
 include attending West Texas A&M University and pursuing an
 occupation in the medical field; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Nivens has earned the respect and admiration of
 her teachers and classmates at Sanford-Fritch High School, and her
 exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to
 excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this
 remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Tiffany
 Nivens on being named valedictorian of the Sanford-Fritch High
 School Class of 2013 and extend to her sincere best wishes for
 continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her
 life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Nivens as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
