 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Allison Everett graduated as valedictorian of the
 2013 senior class of Tascosa High School in Amarillo, and she truly
 merits special recognition for her impressive achievements; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction,
 Ms. Everett demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range
 of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted
 to her studies are myriad; and
 WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
 recognized as the highest achieving student in her class,
 Ms. Everett gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at
 commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their
 hopes and ambitions for the future; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Brian and Jennifer
 Everett, Allison Everett has earned the respect and admiration of
 her teachers and classmates at Tascosa High School, and her
 exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to
 excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this
 remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Allison
 Everett on being named valedictorian of the senior class of Tascosa
 High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
 success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Everett as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
