H.R. No. 262 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, There are no words that can diminish the pain caused by a young life cut short, but family and friends will forever treasure their memories of Anthony Ryan Scioli, who passed away on June 16, 2013, at the age of 19; and WHEREAS, Anthony Scioli was born in Lubbock on June 2, 1994, to Paul and Sharon Scioli, and he grew up in the company of six siblings, Chris, Vanessa, Theresa, Angela, Keith, and Paul; and WHEREAS, Kind and generous in nature, Mr. Scioli demonstrated great compassion for individuals in need and brightened the days of others with his smile and humor; he was active and enjoyed playing sports, but above all, he was devoted to his faith and his family; and WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth was far too brief, Anthony Scioli made a positive difference in the lives of all who were privileged to know him, and they will always carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Anthony Ryan Scioli and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his parents, Paul and Sharon Scioli; to his siblings, Chris Scioli and his wife, Abby, Vanessa Santosuosso and her husband, Al, Theresa Pittl and her husband, Kelly, and Angela, Keith, and Paul Joseph Scioli; to his niece, Sophia Scioli; to his grandparents, Dr. Eugene Scioli and Helen Scioli and Dr. John Mottet and Cathy Mottet; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Anthony Scioli.
