R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The deliberations of the Texas House of
Representatives during the 83rd Legislative Session have been
greatly aided by the outstanding work of the House Research
Organization; and
WHEREAS, Members of the house rely on the impartial
information that the HRO provides in its "Daily Floor Report," as
well as in other publications on significant policy issues; and
WHEREAS, Operating under the leadership of director Laura
Hendrickson, the House Research Organization staff includes Lauren
Ames, Charles Boisseau, Benjamin Davis, Marcus Denton, Kellie
Dworaczyk, Janet Elliott, Frank Fuller, Ben Haguewood, Michael
Hernandez, Tom Howe, Andrias Jones, Gresham Kay, Andrei Lubomudrov,
Danielle Nasr, Mark Neuman-Lee, Blaire Parker, and Jessica Wilson;
and
WHEREAS, Facing the daunting workload of a legislative
session, these resourceful professionals consistently produce
invaluable analyses in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner, and
in so doing, they win, once again, our sincere gratitude and
admiration; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend the staff of the
House Research Organization for their exceptional service in behalf
of the legislature and the State of Texas; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the House Research Organization as an expression of
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
