 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Aimee Bautista is graduating as valedictorian of the
 senior class of North Mesquite High School in 2013; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; the student who garners this coveted
 distinction must demonstrate a thorough understanding of a wide
 range of subjects, from math and science to language arts and social
 studies, yet the rewards of the countless hours of study and
 preparation are myriad; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Alberto and Imelda
 Bautista, Ms. Bautista plans to continue her education at The
 University of Texas at Austin, studying biomedical engineering on a
 partial scholarship; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Aimee Bautista has
 earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at
 North Mesquite High School, and her exceptional scholastic ability,
 hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to
 limitless opportunities for this outstanding young Texan; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aimee
 Bautista, valedictorian of the North Mesquite High School Class of
 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as
 she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Bautista as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
