SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 123 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Lee Stalnaker, who is retiring from the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services after 30 years of outstanding service to the state; and WHEREAS, Mr. Stalnaker began his career in state service in 1983 in the field of information technology with the Texas Department of Human Resources, and he has gone on to hold increasingly more responsible positions during his tenure with the agency; and WHEREAS, Throughout his career, he has been noted for his superior skills and expertise; his abilities as a systems analyst and troubleshooter have played a vital role in the continuing success of the department in providing critical services to Texans across the state; and WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, he has handled his many responsibilities with remarkable efficiency and dedication; his ongoing willingness to assume additional duties has set a stellar example to all those who have worked with him; and WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Lee Stalnaker on his exceptional service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and extend to him best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
