H.R. No. 108 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately convey the sorrow felt at the tragic death of Ronald Sanderson of Tow on July 5, 2013, at the age of 41; and WHEREAS, A volunteer firefighter, Mr. Sanderson died in a fire at his home, after bravely reentering the burning house to ensure the safety of his wife and children, who survived; and WHEREAS, Ronald Sanderson was born in Levelland on September 21, 1971, to Carolynn and Marvin Sanderson; he was a dedicated member of the Tow Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years, during which time he served as captain, assistant chief, and vice president; and WHEREAS, Mr. Sanderson delighted in riding his motorcycle, and he gave generously of his time and energy to his many friends; in all of his endeavors, he enjoyed the love and support of his wife, Tiffany, and he was the proud father of five children, Cheyenne, Cierra, Chayse, Hayden, and Colt; and WHEREAS, Exemplifying strength, courage, and kindness, Ronald Sanderson dedicated his life to his family and his community, and he will be long remembered with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Ronald Sanderson and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his wife, Tiffany Sanderson; to his daughters, Cheyenne Sanderson and Cierra Reede; to his sons, Chayse and Hayden Sanderson and Colt Hodges; to his parents, Carolynn and Marvin Sanderson; to his granddaughter, Renesme Reede; to his sister, Raylene Nowels; to his brothers, Scott Sanderson and his wife, Sharon, and John Sanderson and his wife, Peggy; to his half-brother, Clint Sanderson, and his wife, Darla; to his grandmother, Evelynn Jephcott; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ronald Sanderson.
