H.R. No. 21 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Chasity Danielle Coquat has been named salutatorian of the Class of 2013 at Three Rivers High School, and for achieving this significant honor, she indeed merits special recognition; and WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. Coquat demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to her studies are myriad; and WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, Ms. Coquat has contributed her time and energy to such NHS activities as canned food drives and the Blue Santa/Angels run; she has been accepted at Howard Payne University and hopes to go to law school after obtaining her bachelor's degree; and WHEREAS, Dani Coquat has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates at Three Rivers High School, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Chasity Danielle Coquat, salutatorian of the Three Rivers High School Class of 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Coquat as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
