H.R. No. 77
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Francelli Villanueva has been named salutatorian of
the Class of 2013 at Hebbronville High School, and for achieving
this significant honor, she indeed merits special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction,
Ms. Villanueva demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide
range of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has
devoted to her studies are myriad; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Villanueva has
generously volunteered her time and talents to her church and to
Relay For Life, and she has also assisted with the local Vaquero and
Christmas festivals; she will attend Texas A&M
University--Kingsville and plans to study veterinary medicine; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Francelli
Villanueva has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers
and classmates at Hebbronville High School, and her exceptional
scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have
opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young
Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Francelli
Villanueva, salutatorian of the Hebbronville High School Class of
2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as
she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Villanueva as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
