H.R. No. 84
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tres Gilbert Guerra has been named valedictorian of
the Class of 2013 at Hebbronville High School, and for achieving
this significant honor, he indeed merits special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction,
Mr. Guerra demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of
subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours he has devoted to
his studies are myriad; and
WHEREAS, In addition to attending to his class work,
Mr. Guerra has shared his time and energy with such worthy
endeavors as a blood drive and Relay for Life; he plans to attend
The University of Texas at San Antonio, with the long-term goal of a
career in engineering; and
WHEREAS, Tres Guerra has earned the respect and admiration of
his teachers and classmates at Hebbronville High School, and his
exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to
excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this
remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Tres Gilbert
Guerra, valedictorian of the Hebbronville High School Class of
2013, and that he be extended sincere best wishes for continued
success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Guerra as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
