                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 72
 In Memory
 of
 Sandra Kaye Corder Bell
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
 commemorates the life of educator Sandra Kaye Corder Bell, who
 died June 25, 2013, at the age of 68; and
 WHEREAS, Sandra Bell was born February 13, 1945, to Ina
 Ruth Durham Corder and Nolan John Corder, Sr., in Fort Worth; she
 was a 1963 graduate of Haltom High School; and
 WHEREAS, She married Robert Dale Bell on June 12, 1965; the
 couple raised three children, Cindy, Greg, and Amy, and they were
 blessed with a grandson, Jacob; and
 WHEREAS, Sandra enjoyed a fulfilling 27-year career as an
 English teacher at Haltom Middle School; a gifted and resourceful
 educator, she instilled in her students an appreciation for hard
 work and a lifelong love of learning; she received numerous
 teaching awards and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma
 International Society for Key Women Educators; and
 WHEREAS, A woman of courage, strength, and compassion, she
 gave generously to others, and her wisdom, warmth, and valued
 counsel will not be forgotten; and
 WHEREAS, She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother,
 and she leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by
 her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere
 condolences to the bereaved family of Sandra Kaye Corder Bell;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
 Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
 memory of Sandra Kaye Corder Bell.
