SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 8
In Memory
of
Angel Chronis, Jr.
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
commemorates the life of Angel Chronis, Jr., who died April 30,
2013, at the age of 45; and
WHEREAS, Angel Chronis was an exemplary citizen who was
widely respected and admired in his community for his many
achievements; and
WHEREAS, A native of Brownsville, Mr. Chronis will be
remembered for his integrity, his kindness, and his dedication to
serving others; and
WHEREAS, A man of courage, strength, and compassion, he
gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
counsel will not be forgotten; and
WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband and father, and he leaves
behind memories that will be treasured forever by his family and
many friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby extend sincere
condolences to the bereaved family of Angel Chronis, Jr.: his
wife, Christine D. Chronis; his daughter, Crystal Yvonne
Chronis; his parents, Angel Chronis, Sr., and Virginia Chronis;
and his brothers, Nicholas and Jaime Chronis; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
memory of Angel Chronis, Jr.
