                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 80
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to pay
 tribute to Rose Margaret Carroll on the grand occasion of her
 80th birthday; and
 WHEREAS, A revered woman who is dedicated to helping
 others, she is known for her wisdom and her generosity of spirit;
 and
 WHEREAS, Rose was born July 29, 1933, in Missouri, and she
 moved to Texas in 1968; she raised four children, Mary, Billy,
 Rose, and Kevin, and she is the proud grandmother of eight
 grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Sarah, Kevin, Garrison,
 Kaitlynn, Austin, and Kelsey; and
 WHEREAS, Rose Carroll was among the first Texas women to be
 certified in the field of radiology, and she has worked for over
 40 years with Dr. William Walker, serving the needs of Central
 Texas patients; and
 WHEREAS, This distinguished lady is committed to living an
 honest life and keeping a strong focus on the task at hand; she
 understands the value of education in finding a rewarding career
 and believes in the importance of putting the needs of others
 before one's own; and
 WHEREAS, A beloved and respected member of her community,
 she is noted for her courage, her compassion for others, and her
 enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby recognize Rose Margaret
 Carroll as a treasured citizen of our state and extend to her best
 wishes on her 80th birthday; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as a memento of this special day.
