| 9 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 8 | | SECTION 1. The legislature, as authorized by Section |
|---|
| 11 | 9 | | 16.051(g), Water Code, designates the site of the proposed Ringgold |
|---|
| 12 | 10 | | reservoir, to be located on the Little Wichita River in Clay County |
|---|
| 13 | 11 | | approximately one-half mile upstream from its confluence with the |
|---|
| 14 | 12 | | Red River, as having unique value for the construction of a dam and |
|---|
| 15 | 13 | | reservoir and further determines that the reservoir is necessary to |
|---|
| 16 | 14 | | meet water supply needs. |
|---|
| 17 | 15 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 18 | 16 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 19 | 17 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 20 | 18 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 21 | 19 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
