The bill would amend the Government Code to require each county jail to submit a report to the Commission on Jail Standards regarding the jail's use of any type of restraints to control or restrict the movement of a prisoner who is pregnant or who gave birth within the last three previous days. The bill would require the Commission on Jail Standards to prescribe a form for the required report. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
