| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 20.012(a), Water Code, is amended to | |
| 11 | 11 | read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (a) The authority is governed by a board of directors | |
| 13 | 13 | composed of the [six] directors of the development board. | |
| 14 | 14 | SECTION 2. Section 20.015(b), Water Code, is amended to | |
| 15 | 15 | read as follows: | |
| 16 | 16 | (b) The board may hold special meetings at the call of the | |
| 17 | 17 | chairman or on request of a majority of the [three or more] | |
| 18 | 18 | directors. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
| 20 | 20 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
| 21 | 21 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
| 22 | 22 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
| 23 | 23 | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
