                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 15, 2015      TO: Honorable Joan Huffman, Chair, Senate Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1294 by Capriglione (Relating to the disclosure on personal financial statements of certain contracts or subcontracts with governmental entities.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to increase reporting requirements of individuals filing personal financial statements with the Ethics Commission. The Ethics Commission indicates it could absorb any costs associated with the bill within its current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015 and would affect financial statements filed on or after January 1, 2017.
