| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 74, Government Code, is | |
| 11 | 11 | amended by adding Section 74.0971 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 74.0971. LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT JUDGE FOR | |
| 13 | 13 | CORYELL COUNTY. Notwithstanding Section 74.091(b), the local | |
| 14 | 14 | administrative district judge for Coryell County is selected on the | |
| 15 | 15 | basis of seniority from the district judges of the 52nd Judicial | |
| 16 | 16 | District and the 440th Judicial District. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015, but only | |
| 18 | 18 | if the bill relating to the creation of an additional district court | |
| 19 | 19 | composed of Coryell County is enacted by the 84th Legislature, | |
| 20 | 20 | Regular Session, 2015, and becomes law. If the bill does not become | |
| 21 | 21 | law, this Act has no effect. |
