A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the provision of a plan regarding the elimination of
toll roads.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Not later than September 1, 2016, the Texas
Department of Transportation, in consultation with the comptroller
and governor, shall provide each member of the legislature with a
plan to eliminate by not later than 2046
all toll roads in this
state, including any tolled portion of:
(1) Loop 1 Toll;
(2) SH 45 Toll;
(3) Loop 49 Toll;
(4) SH 99 Toll;
(5) 183A Toll;
(6) SH 255 Toll;
(7) 290 Toll Road;
(8) SH 550 Toll;
(9) Addison Airport Toll Tunnel;
(10) Chisolm Trail Parkway;
(11) Dallas North Tollway;
(12) Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road;
(13) Fort Bend Tollway;
(14) Fort Bend Westpark Tollway;
(15) Hardy Toll Road;
(16) International Parkway;
(17) Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge;
(18) I-10 Toll (Katy Tollway);
(19) Mountain Creek Lake Bridge;
(20) President George Bush Turnpike;
(21) Sam Houston Tollway;
(22) Sam Rayburn Tollway; and
(23) Westpark Tollway.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
