| 24 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 25 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, |
|---|
| 26 | 9 | | is amended by adding Section 225.107 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 27 | 10 | | Sec. 225.107. TEXAS GAME WARDEN MICHAEL C. PAULING MEMORIAL |
|---|
| 28 | 11 | | HIGHWAY. (a) The portion of State Highway 87 from the bridge over |
|---|
| 29 | 12 | | the intercoastal canal in Port Arthur to its intersection with |
|---|
| 30 | 13 | | Farm-to-Market Road 3322 in Sabine Pass is designated as the Texas |
|---|
| 31 | 14 | | Game Warden Michael C. Pauling Memorial Highway. |

| 32 | 15 | | (b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall: |
|---|
| 33 | 16 | | (1) design and construct markers indicating the |
|---|
| 34 | 17 | | designation as the Texas Game Warden Michael C. Pauling Memorial |
|---|
| 35 | 18 | | Highway and any other appropriate information; and |
|---|
| 36 | 19 | | (2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at |
|---|
| 37 | 20 | | appropriate intermediate sites along the highway. |
|---|
| 38 | 21 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 39 | 22 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 40 | 23 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 41 | 24 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 42 | 25 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
