| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Section 57.03, Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which amended Section |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 12.106(a), Education Code, effective September 1, 2017, is |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | repealed. |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | SECTION 2. Section 42.2516(i), Education Code, is amended |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | to read as follows: |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (i) The legislature by appropriation shall establish the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | percentage to be applied for purposes of Subsections (b)(1) and (2) |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and Subsection (d)(1) [is 100.00 percent for the 2011-2012 school |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | year and 92.35 percent for the 2012-2013 school year. For the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | 2013-2014 school year and each subsequent school year, the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | legislature by appropriation shall establish the percentage |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | reduction to be applied]. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 3. Section 57.18, Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which amended the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | heading to Section 42.2516, Education Code, effective September 1, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 2017, is repealed. |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | SECTION 4. Section 57.19, Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of the |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which amended Section |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 42.2516(a), Education Code, effective September 1, 2017, is |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | repealed. |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | SECTION 5. Section 57.23, Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which amended Section |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 42.253(h), Education Code, effective September 1, 2017, is |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | repealed. |

| 35 | 35 | | SECTION 6. Section 57.29, Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of the |

| 36 | 36 | | 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which amended Section |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 26.08(i), Tax Code, effective September 1, 2017, is repealed. |

| 38 | 38 | | SECTION 7. Section 57.32(a), Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | the 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which repealed |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | various provisions of the Education Code, is repealed. |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | SECTION 8. Section 57.32(b), Chapter 4 (S.B. 1), Acts of |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | the 82nd Legislature, 1st Called Session, 2011, which repealed |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | Sections 26.08(i-1) and (j), Tax Code, is repealed. |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | SECTION 9. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 46 | 46 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
