A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to multiple methods of voting at the same polling place.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 123.005(b), Election Code, is amended to
read as follows:
(b) Except as otherwise provided by this title, regular
paper ballots may not be used at any [a] polling place if [using] a
voting system is used in the election.
SECTION 2. Section 123.005(a), Election Code, is repealed.
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
