| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Sections 152.2473 and 152.2474, Human Resources | |
| 11 | 11 | Code, are repealed. | |
| 12 | 12 | SECTION 2. On the effective date of this Act: | |
| 13 | 13 | (1) the Wharton County child support office is | |
| 14 | 14 | abolished; | |
| 15 | 15 | (2) the obligations, rights, records, equipment, and | |
| 16 | 16 | personnel of the former office are transferred to the Wharton | |
| 17 | 17 | County Commissioners Court; and | |
| 18 | 18 | (3) any money remaining in the Wharton County child | |
| 19 | 19 | support fund shall be transferred to the Wharton County general | |
| 20 | 20 | fund. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. |
